Feeling inspired by BMoCA's exhibitions and want to create your own art? Make your own beautiful cyanotypes with this kit! Cyanotypes, or sunprints, only use sun, water, and your own imagination. Place light-sensitive paper in the sun and you can catch the image of whatever you place on it, whether that's a household object or something from nature, or even something you make!
These larger sheets (5.8"x8.3”) give you more area than our other sunprint kits to create detailed compositions with multiple objects, and more complex arrangements. Go wild!
Instructions:
- Place any object on the light-sensitive paper, then put it in the sun for a few minutes to create blue and white impressions
- You can capture the image of whatever you'd like! Try leaves, flowers, knick-knacks, keys, fabric, and more
- After exposure, wash gently with water to make the image permanent.
