Nicknamed "the Bells" because of their shape, Maroon Peak and North Maroon Peak are both 14ers towering over Maroon Lake in a glacier-carved valley outside Aspen, CO. This spot is special to Kristen because not only is it iconic, it's the starting point of the first backpacking trip she ever did with her sister here in Colorado.
