Making a Great Exhibition is a fun, colorful insight into the world of artists and museums.
How does an artist make an artwork like a sculpture or painting? What materials do they use? Where does the artwork go after they make it? Making a Great Exhibition walks the reader through the process of two artists' work as it goes from their art studio to a museum. Meet the people that help make everything happen and watch their creative journey unfold! Geared towards children aged 3-7, but fun for all ages.
Author Doro Globus grew up in museums as her mother was curator, and she is now the managing director of David Zwirner Books. She brings that love for the arts and excitement of experiencing the vibrant art and museum world as child into this fun journey. London-based illustrator Rose Blake was also raised in the art world, and hopes to show that happy upbringing in each page of their collaborative book. Making a Great Exhibition was published in 2021.
