Anne Lindberg is a multi-disciplinary artist who works within expanded definitions of drawing, sculpture, and textile in both two and three dimensions. While her work is abstract, embedded within its language are concerns of time, sequence, light, & fragility. Lindberg moves across the surface to apply thousands of lines, literally marking the surface as she walks. Her drawings use only lines on paper to capture light and hold it still.
Lindberg’s work has been featured in both solo and group exhibitions around the U.S., and current exhibitions include seen and unseen at Academy Art Museum (2025-26), The Gravity of Light at BMoCA, Consciousness of Stream at Patrick Mikhail Gallery and Threads, a collaborative exhibition with poet H.L. Hix at the Archive Gallery ‘T’ Space in Rhinebeck, NY (2026). Her site-specific work, passage, is currently on view at the Arkansas Museum of Fine Arts through 2027.
